Pick up a tasty treat or lunch from from Gregg’s, Eaton’s or Bramble’s here at George Yard.
At Eaton’s you can get a great sandwich, baguette or light lunch with a great variety of fresh fillings, all made on the spot. They always have a yummy selection of cakes, too! Gluten free scones, hot chocolate with marshmallows and luscious cream teas are a specialty here. You can eat outside on good solid wooden chairs and tables – great for those with dogs (or cigarettes)! There is always a water bowl for doggie friends here too…
Gregg’s offer their famous sausage rolls as well as a range of other snacks and tea or coffee – to eat in or take away. They still sell bread, rolls and other cakes as well – those lovely sticky Belgian buns are a great favourite!
For a more substantial lunch, try visiting Brambles (upstairs in the Quadrant). There is a lift as well as an escalator to make it easy to try their great home cooking. A range of hot freshly cooked food, ranging from fish & chips to steak & kidney are appreciated by their many visitors.
All these facilities are fully accessible, except Eaton’s which has steps just inside their listed building – but try sitting outside under the tree and enjoy watching the world go by and with one of their great lattes!
