BBC Essex visited George Yard!
Liana and Barry came to find the blue plaque erected to commemorate the first Crittall factory. Crittalls windows have been exported around the world and are still made today. At one time 5000 people were employed, many in Silver End, the village built around subsequent factory. Robert Rose the Braintree Museum manager explained the history of Critalls, commemorated by the blue plaque on Fever Accessories in George Yard.
