Feathers was started in Braintree in 1983, our first shop was a small salon in Braintree High Street. After a long period of sustained growth it was evident the quaint High Street location was no longer going to be big enough. Soon after George Yard Shopping Centre opened just yards away and offered Feathers the opportunity to move to our current location in the town.
